Abortion Pill 

A woman can do an abortion by herself by using an abortion pill and not any other method.

The doctor will treat her as if she had a spontaneous miscarriage. 

There is no way the doctor will know that the woman took medicines.

Before taking Abortion Pills:

Make sure that you are pregnant. Do a pregnancy test.

Do not take abortion Pills if you are:

1. Seriously ill.

2. If you have severe anaemia.

3. Do not use alcohol or drugs during the treatment!!! The woman must be able to pay close attention to what is happening in her body.  If the cramps are very painful, she can use a painkiller or a hot water bottle or heating pad, but never alcohol or drugs.

4. Abortion pill should not be used when there is a possibility of an ectopic (or extra-uterine) pregnancy.

5. Abortion should not be used if the woman has an intra uterine device (IUD).

6. Abortion should never be used if the woman is allergic to it or any other prostaglandin.  

This is a rare condition, which a woman will be aware of if she has used these medicines and had such a reaction before. 

If she has never used the medicine before, she cannot have experienced an allergic reaction.

4. See if your bathroom habits change. If you're urinating a lot more frequently without any reason you can think of, or if you're suddenly constipated while previously not having any trouble with your bowels, then you may be pregnant.

5. Be on the lookout for mood swings. Pregnancy comes with some serious hormonal changes that can have a major impact on your mood. You could be crying one minute and then feeling ridiculously happy the next minute for next to no reason.

6. See if you're feeling dizzy. If you're suddenly getting dizzy when you stand up quickly, walk up stairs, or just for no reason at all, then you may be pregnant.

You can have all these symptoms and still not be pregnant. The best to confirm is to go for a pregnancy test. Pharmacies have home pregnacy test kits that are very accurate. Buy one from them and ask them how to use it.
